The Mad Boomer Return & Exchange Policy

Overview

At The Mad Boomer, every product is made to order and created specifically for you. We take pride in craftsmanship and accuracy, so we handle returns and exchanges carefully.

We accept exchange requests only—refunds are granted only when absolutely necessary, such as in the event of a verified defect, damage, or production error.

1. Exchange Eligibility

You may request an exchange within 14 days of receiving your package, as confirmed by the carrier’s tracking information.

Exchanges are valid for regular-priced items only.
The following are not eligible for exchange:
- Sale, discounted, or clearance items
- Pre-order or presale items once production has begun
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Hygiene-sensitive products (hats, silkies, drinkware, swimwear, underwear, or any product worn against the skin)

All such sales are final.

2. Condition Requirements

This should go without saying—but according to our lawyer, we have to spell it out.

To be eligible for an exchange:
- Garments and items must be unworn, unwashed, unmarked, unaltered, and in resalable condition.
- Items with pet hair, lint, odors, stains, or damage will not be honored for exchange and will be considered surrendered.

If the item is not in resale condition, no exchange will be processed.

3. How to Request an Exchange

Step 1:
Email us at contact@themadboomer.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- The item and size you wish to exchange for

We’ll verify that the requested replacement is available. If the replacement is unavailable, you may be offered a store credit or refund only at our discretion.

Step 2:
Once approved, mail your item(s) to:

Please keep your tracking information—we cannot honor an exchange until the returned item has been received and inspected.

Step 3:
Include a printed copy of your email correspondence or a handwritten note stating the item(s) you are exchanging for.

Once received and approved, exchanges will typically be processed within 72 business hours.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us at contact@themadboomer.com within 30 days of receipt. Include:
- Photos of the issue
- Your order number
- A brief description of the problem

We will replace, or—if a replacement is unavailable—refund the item at our discretion.

Lost shipments must be reported within 30 days of the expected delivery date.

5. No Refunds (Except as Noted)

We’re happy to help with exchanges.

We cannot issue refunds for properly fulfilled orders.
You placed the order, and we produced exactly what you requested. Let’s work together to ensure your satisfaction with your experience.

Refunds are issued only when a replacement cannot be provided due to confirmed defect, damage, or production error.

6. Ineligible Products

For sanitary and quality reasons, the following categories are non-returnable and non-exchangeable:
- Hats
- Silkies
- Drinkware
- Swimwear
- Underwear or personal garments

Additionally, all preorder or presale products that are not regularly stocked are final sale.

7. Processing Times

Once we receive and inspect your item:
- These are made-to-order items; approved exchanges ship as quickly as possible.
- If a refund is warranted (rare cases only), please allow up to 10 business days for your bank or credit card provider to post the funds.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and you have not received it, contact us at contact@themadboomer.com.
